The Eta Phi chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta is being colonized this fall at Belmont University! Alumnae will be very involved throughout the colonization process. The first event will be the Colonization Kick-Off on September 22nd, which is an opportunity for the women on campus who are interested in interviewing to meet Grand Council members, local alumnae, and college women from the Alpha Eta chapter.
Bid Day will occur on September 25th, with the Pledge Service taking place that evening where alumnae will be serving as marshals for the new members during the service. The colony members will then spend six weeks completing the Member Orientation Program and learning what it means to be a Theta. Initiation will take place on November 5th and alumnae will again be serving as marshals for the new members. The most exciting and proud day for these women will be on November 6th when they will be signing their charter and becoming an official chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta!
